Privacy policy

The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is the person named above. No data protection officer has been appointed, as the legal requirements for this are not met.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The server location is Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Hostinger processes on my behalf all data generated when this website is accessed; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in providing the website securely and quickly (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Hostinger uses sub-processors for network security and email delivery, some of which are based in the USA; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. The current list of sub-processors is available in Hostinger’s privacy notice.

3. Server log files

When you access this website the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system and the referring page. This data is not combined with other sources and serves only the secure operation of the website and error analysis. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest unless a security incident requires longer retention.

4. Contact form and email

If you write to me via the contact form I process the details you provide: name, email address, your phone number, your message, the package you are interested in and how you heard about me. I use this data solely to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a contract. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and your consent via the checkbox in the form (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). The enquiry is delivered to me as an email via a mailbox at Hostinger. To prevent abuse I additionally store a shortened form of your IP address for one hour (rate limiting). I delete your data once your enquiry is settled and no contract is concluded, at the latest after six months. If a contract is concluded, I retain the correspondence within the statutory commercial and tax retention periods. The same applies if you email me directly.

5. Fonts

The fonts used on this website (Inter) are stored locally on my server. No connection to Google or any other font provider is established when the page is loaded.

6. No cookies, no analytics

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. No third-party content is loaded. Consent under § 25 TDDDG is therefore not required, and there is no cookie banner. Should I introduce a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool in the future, I will update this policy beforehand.

7. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. An email to info@simonobi.de is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for me is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, www.ldi.nrw.de.

8. Changes

I update this privacy policy when the website’s technology or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
